Meet the Team bringing you Football
Every saturday Morning!

Show Host Penny Tanner Hoath along with Co-Host Peter Szkiela, Sean Kelly and Hugh Best bring you a great line-up of local and national guests to talk about football.

Penny Tanner Hoath

Programme Coordinator and
Lead Host

Western Australian State Footballer, Programme Coordinator and Presenter of the World Football Programme at Radio Fremantle for nearly 40 years.

Find Penny’s extensive map of women’s football in Western Australia here womensoccer.com.au. You will also find Penny playing the odd game in goals for the NPLW team at Murdoch University Melville FC. Penny has the profile and growth of womens football at her heart.

Peter Szkiela

team Member
and #1 Wingman

A continued Top 10 contender in the Australian Wingman National Championships.

Manages ALeaguestats.com (which is used by our A League match commentators). Plays the odd five a side with son Ben, has been seen more than a few times in the Glory Shed and has done the mandatory parent coaching term. Throws a pretty sassy left hook and when tested, absolutely knows his stuff. 2026 will be Pete’s twelfth year on the show.

Sean Kelly

host

Sean is our no fuss, pull out the splinter and get the job done man.

He’s Ashfield SC through and through and our Australian Walking Football representative. Sean is all about sharing the news that should be shared. 2026 will be Sean‘s eleventh year with the show.

Hugh Best

host

In 2026, Hugh will have been a part of the World Football team for six years, following an illustrious and highly accredited refereeing career in WA. Hugh also plies his trade as an Australian subbuteo player and reads the odd Roy of the Rovers comic.
